The Garmin Sport Pro remote dog training collar is popular among many dog trainers - mostly because of its ease of use and choice of stimulation levels. Garmin Sport Pro Transmitter (remote)

The transmitter provides both low and high levels of stimulation (10 levels of continuous or momentary). This means that you can use it for simple training such as yardwork/obedience as well as for stronger reinforcements (such as unwanted chasing or strong distractions). It’s also one of few models that have tone and vibration features that can be activated without having to turn the dial. This is great if you want to teach multiple non-stimulation commands quickly and easily.

Garmin Sport Pro Receiver

The Sport PRO receivers feature interchangeable contact points to suit the effective training needs of both short and long-haired breeds. 

 

Focusing on the size and length of the strap, what we have is a ¾-inch collar that fits up to a 24-inch neck size (suitable for small to large breeds). The collar securely holds the receiver to ensure effective contact and control. 

 

The receiver has been wrapped in a hardy plastic Lexan molded case to ensure that it can withstand all kinds of training and hunting conditions - even wet environments (it’s fully waterproof). 

 

The durable dog training collar includes a built-in LED battery charge indicator and test light, beacon lights, and an on/off switch.

Remote-controlled Beacon Lights help you to locate your dog in dark or hazy conditions - a nifty feature to have for hunting or even for casual evening walks around the neighborhood.

Built-in BarkLimiter

BarkLimiter™ technology has become a standard feature in most Garmin models, and this one can be conveniently controlled by the transmitter.

 

How it works: the bark limiter has settable levels, so you set the level and increase it as needed (until you have adjusted the correction to the optimum level to stop each dog/s unwanted barking).
